Rose Coded was founded in Portland, Oregon in 2021 by a group of professionals with a diverse collection of technical and creative skills who decided to start a business together.

Founded on the principles of a democratic workplace, our cooperative business is worker owned and operated, which means that every worker is a part owner and receives an equal say in the business. This means that every employee has a stake in the success of the company and by extension your business!

Rose Coded is building the next generation of digital workspaces–where identity, trust, and contribution are verifiable, portable, and owned by the people who create the value.

Through Karuna Club, we are a Nextcloud provider, giving individuals and organizations a secure, private, and flexible productivity suite to manage files, coordinate projects, and collaborate in real time—without relying on surveillance-based cloud services. Like all Nextcloud providers, we believe people should be in control of their work, and not controlled by their software.

What We Build

Karuna Club is designed to grow with you through three tiers of capability:

Tier 1 – Secure Productivity & Collaboration

A complete Nextcloud environment with private file storage, shared workspaces, calendar, and task management—all hosted under cooperative governance. Ideal for teams that want secure, surveillance-free collaboration without Web3 complexity.

Tier 2 – Web3 Integration & Karuna Wallet

Adds a wallet-first architecture with the Karuna Wallet, blending Salmon Wallet (decentralized identity, governance, credentialing) and Privy Wallet (Stripe) for conventional payments. Enables verifiable identity, programmable access, tokenized credentials, and cooperative governance—without sacrificing Tier 1’s simplicity.

Tier 3 – AuroraHive AI Platform

AuroraHive is our collaborative AI design space—built right into Karuna Club as a Nextcloud app. It’s a plugin for AFFiNE workspace application that lets teams co-create and improve AI agents together, using building blocks that add personality, reasoning, and task-specific skills. Behind the scenes, we draw on proven AI tools and research to make these agents more adaptable and useful, but you don’t need to be a developer to shape them. The result is an intelligent workspace where people and AI work side by side, helping your team learn faster, coordinate better, and make decisions you can trust.

With the Karuna Wallet as the secure bridge between tiers, every document, task, credential, and interaction can be verified, portable, and under your control—whether you’re managing a small project circle, running a multi-stakeholder co-op, or collaborating in immersive, AI-assisted environments.
